Membership Terms and Conditions as a Member of the Italian Association of Computational Linguistics
Registration as “Individual Member” and “Collective Member” and renewal of registration are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1.0 – GENERAL
1.1- Association membership can be made only and exclusively through the Association’s Web site www.ai-lc.it. No other registration methods are accepted.
2.0 – PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
2.1- Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties, and will not be used for commercial and / or advertising and marketing purposes, but will be used exclusively for the purpose of registering as an AILC member and for sending you all communications regarding the Association, either by way of printed and telematic.
3.0 – REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AS A MEMBER
3.1- Membership of the association is valid for ANNUAL or THREE-YEAR years and must be renewed online, paying the relative membership fee. The registration / renewal of the registration can be made from September 1 of the current year until August 31 of the following year and is valid until December 31 of the following year. Online registrations are always open, 7 days a week, including holidays and 24H on 24.
3.2 – ONLINE REGISTRATION
The user must complete the form available on this website in all its mandatory parts in order to proceed with the registration of his data. A confirmation email will then be sent.
3.3- The complete description of all the types of registration offered is present in the “registration” section of the site.
3.4- You become an effective member only after payment of the membership fee.
4.0 – TERMS AND TERMS OF PAYMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION FEE
4.1- You can pay the membership fee by choosing one of the following methods:
– Bank transfer
– Credit card (Through the Unicredit Pagonline service)
All data to make the payment are available on the site once the form has been completed and submitted.
4.2- Following the online registration, the membership fee must be paid no later than 15 days from the date of registration or renewal, otherwise the application will have no follow-up. The cancellation of the registration request involves the cancellation of personal data from our archives and our computer systems.
4.3- Payments must be paid in euros and are exempt from VAT pursuant to Art. 10, paragraph 1, no. 20, d.P.R. 633/72 regarding non-profit Cultural Associations.
6.0 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATION OF PERSONAL DATA
6.1- In case the member wishes to withdraw from the renewal of the registration for the following year, it will be sufficient not to carry out the ON-LINE renewal and therefore not even to pay the membership fee.
6.2- The personal data of the user associated previously is stored in our archives and in our computer databases for the duration of 3 calendar years from the date of the last renewal. At the end of this deadline, all personal data of the member will be deleted from our archives and from our computer database. It will therefore not be necessary to request the deletion of your data.
6.3- In the event that the associated user previously wishes to DEFINITELY CANCEL his personal data from our archives and computer databases within 3 years of data storage, he may do so by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject : “Request for cancellation of personal data”. An email will be sent to confirm data deletion as soon as possible.
7.0 – OTHER INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
7.1- For all other provisions regarding registration and renewal not mentioned in this document, reference is made to the statute of the Association.
7.2- For all information on the associative figures and the role they occupy within the Association, the appointment, the forfeiture of these figures and other provisions, always refers to the statute of the Association.
