Editorial Process
IJCoL was founded as a semiannual peer-reviewed journal freely available for online access and download according to the Open Access requirements, a choice aiming at promoting as wide as possible access, in the same spirit of inclusiveness that guides AILC.
The editorial process of IJCol follows the international practices applied to pursue the highest scientific quality of the published work and to guarantee a rapid assessment process, according to the scheme of international peer-review. This guarantees the authors, combining high quality and adequate speed of publication. Submission is managed through a dedicated web platform (URL: http://www.ai-lc.it/ijcolreview/index/login), which allows authors to submit their work in a continuous cycle throughout the year. The submission cycle starts with the review phase (about two months) and continues with the revision phase, which allows to keep the publication cycle shorter than 6-7 months since the date of submission, even in the cases where major changes are required.
STYLE OF SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
Authors are invited to follow the directions about editorial style contained in IJCol: Guide to the preparation of the manuscript. We accept papers submitted as PDF files, regardless of the format used. The final version however will be published only if produced in LaTeX and authors will be required to deliver both the PDF and LaTeX source files.
Editorial support will be offered to authors who have problems with the final submission of the manuscript in LaTeX. Through the OverLeaf platform, which is our reference, we offer a tutorial on using LaTex in OverLeaf.
