Short Bio: Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Roma, Tor Vergata, since August 2015. Current Teaching: “Web Mining and Retrieval”, “Database Systems” for the Computer Science and Computer Engineering curriculum. Danilo Croce has Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering from the University of Roma Tor Vergata. Currently, he is a member of the SAG@ART group at the same university. His expertise concerns theoretical and applied Machine Learning in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval and Data Mining. In particular, he is interested in innovative kernels within support vector and other neural machines for advanced syntactic/semantic processing.
He is author of more than 90 publications on international journals, proceedings of international Conferences and Workshops (h-Index: 19). He has been member of the Program Committee of more than 20 International Conferences and Workshops. He acts regularly as a reviewer for the most important International Conferences with a yearly schedule (ACL, COLING and AAAI).
